Helvetimail – Minimalist GMail Theme

We all use Gmail for its convenience but let's be honest it's not a pretty looking application. Josef Richter has gone to the trouble of creating a minimalist theme that runs under Fluid, the standalone Gmail desktop app. It takes a bit of fiddling around with multiple installations, but if the original Gmail interface rubs you up the wrong way there is a solution to hand. Subcycle labs is the brainchild of Portland based creative / musician / developer Christian Bannister. The video shows a demo of an experimental audio visual sequencer which he has been developing for some time now. The system includes multi-touch realtime audio effects and visual transitions.
